Mr. James Craig has been announced as the CEO of Guardian Compliance/SealTech. Preceding his new appointment, Mr. Craig served as CFO for Electronic Transaction Consultants Corp where, through cost cutting and capturing revenues, he transformed the company into one of the top 3 industry leaders in collection solutions. Mr. Craig also served as COO/CFO for Furmanite Worldwide, Inc. where he led the organization in a worldwide expansion effort. Through this effort, net operating income grew nearly 300% over four years.
Mr. Craig has more than 25 years of experience in a variety of industries including private equity, oil and gas, environmental, automotive, industrial and specialty mechanical services. During his career, he has contributed in roles such as executive management, financial and business analysis and operations management.
Mr. Craig earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University.
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Francisco Callegari, CIO, has more than 20 years of delivering enterprise level IT solutions in a variety of industries including oil and gas, technology and industrial and mechanical services. During his career, he has contributed in leadership roles related to project development and management, process standardization, mergers and acquisitions implementations. Prior to joining Guardian SealTech, Mr. Callegari previously held senior positions at Texaco/Chevron, Microsoft Corporation and Furmanite. He has a consultative approach, and has a record of accomplishments in creating measurable results.
Mr. Callegari holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Commerce from the University of Saint Thomas, Houston, Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Houston, Houston, Texas.
Senior Vice President, SealTech
Mr. Craig Cantu has more than 20 years of specialty mechanical and environmental compliance services experience. Mr. Cantu is responsible for SealTech operations and business development, as well as the SealTech Machine shop operations, ensuring a financially successful organization that ensures employee safety and client facility compliance. Previously, Mr. Cantu was a part of senior management at Seal Tech and Encompas, a repair and environmental services provider to the North American refining and petrochemical markets. Earlier in his career, he started the midwest division for SealTech. He also started and developed the sales division and processes that helped generate record growth objectives year after year. He was instrumental in researching and starting the environmental services division, formerly known as Encompas.
In 2011, SealTech acquired Environmental Analytics Encompas. Mr. Cantu was responsible for integrating operations and administrative personnel and processes. Mr. Cantu built a strong company that created what is now Guardian Compliance, the leader in LDAR services for the refining and petrochemical industry, which he lead until July of 2014, when he assumed responsibility for SealTech and SealTech Machine.
During his career, he has contributed in roles such as executive management, financial and business analysis, repair services, sales, marketing, and operations management. His industry experience includes chemicals and pigments, refining, paper products, and power generation.
Mr. Cantu earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of St. Thomas. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Sam Houston State University.
Director, Safety, Training and Compliance
Mr. Chris Ellis currently serves as the Director, Safety, Training and Compliance for the company. Mr. Ellis is responsible for the company's EHS programs, including the development and maintenance of policies and procedures that support all compliance requirements, analysis of EHS quality and effectiveness, oversight of safety training and worksite practices, and structuring a well-organized safety strategy that fosters a culture of operational excellence.
Mr. Ellis recently served as the General Manager for Tamimi Global Inc. in Saudi Arabia. He has a strong background as a senior executive both in the US and Middle East. He was the Deputy Program Manager for Operations for Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) in Iraq and the Middle East. He also served as President of a Private Security Company in Iraq. Mr. Ellis has an extensive background in Emergency Management having worked with DOD, FEMA and Homeland Security. He served as a commissioned officer in the US Army retiring in 2005.
Mr. Ellis has an under graduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety and a Graduate degree in Behavioral Science from the University of Southern California.
Vice President, Guardian Compliance
Mr. Gary Orsak has more than 25 years of experience in environmental, industrial and specialty mechanical services in the refining, petrochemical, energy and municipality industries. Mr. Orsak is responsible for Guardian operations, integration and implementing strategy to build a financially successful organization that ensures employee safety and client facility compliance.
Previously, Mr. Orsak was a Regional Manager for PSC Industrial Services, an industrial cleaning company. He was responsible for the growth and profitability of seven locations throughout Texas serving the Petrochemical and Refining industries. Earlier, he was General Manager of Southwest Water, a municipal utility management and operations company. His career began as a partner in Enviroganics, a municipal wastewater biosolids management firm. Responsible for sales and operations, this firm grew to supply operations and services to 541 municipal customers until its acquisition by Allwaste, Inc.
Mr. Orsak earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Houston.
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mr. Brad Serres has more than 25 years of environmental LDAR program experience. Mr. Serres is responsible for growth and development for new and existing clients; implementing process improvements for corporate sales effectiveness and customer delivery through account management plans and opportunities. He brings his industry knowledge and broad understanding of both petroleum refining and petrochemical compliance challenges to the company. In addition, Mr. Serres' LDARtools™ expertise and knowledge provides insight about integration options and the significant benefits derived from investing in LDAR driven technology to improve our clients' programs.
Previously, Mr. Serres was the Director of Marketing and minority stake holder of Environmental Analytics, Inc. (EA). During his 20 year career with EA, Mr. Serres had significant roles in the business including operations, project implementation, strategic planning and new business development. While at EA, Mr. Serres grew their LDAR business to the second largest provider in the world while also starting a repair services group which was eventually sold as a separate entity.
In 2006, Mr. Serres helped start LDARtools™, which was a wholly-owned operating unit of EA. The grass roots operation became the standard for innovation in the LDAR industry and remains a strategic partner of Guardian Compliance.
Mr. Serres attended Texas A&M University and was in the Industrial Distribution program before receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University.
